If it does, i can't be suprised to find it to be a autowalah or a biker. Some people have been going blind lately and their driving shows.

P.S: if this is your first time towing, take it nice and slow. Better to be safe than sorry.

Pay the professionals and get the job done. If required ask the service centre themselves to arrange this.
Don't get into this kind of DIY just to save money.
Why take chances un-necessarily?

In most foreign countries you actually require a license to 'tow' another vehicle.
Here in India anything seems to be the norm. However, do check with both your insurance companies if such circumstances are covered or not.

I would still say Pay the Pro's for the service!

Yes, it can certainly be done. A sturdy tow rope of adequate length that is properly fastened to the tow hooks of both vehicles, and two careful drivers (who know the limitations of both the towing car and the one being towed) is all it takes.

It's best to avoid peak traffic hours, as towing a car in traffic can be a real pain for everyone. Do it very slow and steady, let the other road-users be aware of your situation (use hand signals when necessary) and take it real easy on junctions, turns and over speed-breakers.
