Unhappy Palio not starting; ECU Check light not lighting up

The ECU light of my Palio 1.2 is not lighting up. The fuel pump is working when I switch on the Ignition.
The plugs are not firing up.
Checked all the fuses and relays. Ignition relay was found to be faulted. Replaced with new one.
Still not starting.
One of my friend told me that, its due to the faulty 'Crank Position sensor'. Is it right? How can I know that my ECU is not faulty.
I'm from Trivandrum. TVS Automobiles has stopped servicing FIAT vehicles. I have just purchased this vehicle and dont know where to get it serviced. Please help me...

Did u buy the car from TVS?? BTW where do u stay? Know a few private garages just in case u don't mind your car getting checked by them
