Can anyone please explain exactly how one is supposed to use the A & B fuction in the trip meter. I fairly understand the function of the A position which can be reset to zero... but why is the B given??? Can anyone please enlighten me on this topic? Will be much appreciated.

Two trip meters (A & B) just so that you can record trips made by two different drivers, for example, I have my trips recorded on A and my wife's on B. The B trips can also be reset (at least it does that on my WagonR) the same way you reset trip A.

2 trip meters for logging two different trips. what you can do is when you fill up the tank, you could get the trip b to zero & check the mileage when you fill it up next. And the trip A could be used for everyday distance covered or for indicating the next service due. or vice versa.
