Strongly disagree with you....Thefts can happen anywhere. If a place is known to you, there are thieves who may know better than you about that locality.

Very useful especially in the case of cars which is having awkwardly placed stereo slots.

Very useful function, BUT currently available only on snobbish cars in India.

But every technology has it's own pros & cons, you've learn to live them OR use your grey matter to avoid/accept them.
