Default head shaving???

what is head shaving? is it same as porting and polishing? or if it is different than porting and polishing, what is the difference??

theMAG has given you a link to porting & polishing, so you can read that and figure out what thats about....

Shaving the head on the other hand involves removing material from the head (in the range of milimeters), for increasing the compression ratio.

Read about increasing the compression ratio. (compression ratio)

thanks guys.... i was having no idea what so ever about head shaving, so confused it with porting and polishing....
