ARKA Hope to catch up for this big event....

Hello Bhpians,
We had a very successful event, which was attended my 25-30 members.
Nitrous was also there with us on Day#1.

Day#1 - The 2 Anniversary celebations started off to the steady thump of a MDI3200 Engine, on which we displayed the "STARTING & CHECKING" procedure for second hand engines in the Chennai market, We discussed the Engine and its various components.

Then we went on to discuss differentials and axles, the advantages and disadvantages of the semi-floating rear axle vs full-floating rear axle.

After a hearty lunch we got down to discussing the various engines used on M&M JEEPs.

After engines it was natural to discuss gearboxes, transfercases and Power Take Offs.

In the evening we met up at another JEEPers private garage for a barbecue dinner and screened some JEEP Documentaries & JEEP_THRILLS OTR Footages.

Day#2 - 7 Jeeps & a 4WD Ford Endeavour met up at 6:00AM to head out for the OTR. Our Destination was Kattupalli Island (Ennore Port).
It was a mild OTR with a lot of Wells, Ponds and Vee-Pits.

We also had a demonstration of Winching Techniques, followed by lunch.
Lunch was freshly cooked seafood, Fish & Crabs.

Post Lunch we all headed home.

Regards,

Arka

Hey, congrats ex670c,
that was one hell of a time you guys have had there. Sorry couldn't make it. Read the article in the Hindu though where your name was quite clearly mentioned as one of the founders of Jeep Thrills.
