Wheel bearings are common faliures, esp if you ever drive in water logged areas.
When my indica was in Bangalore, the roads I drove on had lots of places where there was water logging.
As a result the wheel bearings had to be replaced twice in 35K kms.
Now in Delhi the car does not see such frequent water logging.
80K kms now, and bearings are still fine.
