even i have the same problem in my zen.later wheni got it checked it their was the prolem with thermostat. get it checked it..........

It did turn out to be the loose belt..........tightening that sorted out the horrible screeching sound as well as the erratic a/c behaviour.

Such a small oversight & so much headache. don't know why people don't pay attention to detail.

its actually quite normal also in a way, for new belts to loosen up a lil, ideally all new belts should be tightened and torqued after 100 kms or as some mechs do over tight to glory while installing in the first place.
