Unhappy Wheel Bent in Indica Turbo

Tonight I didn't see a deep and small pot-hole, and bumped my front left wheel real badly in it. I was going at something like 60 kmph.

When I reached home and got to check it, first I found that the wheel hub had gone off :( and then I found a small dent in the wheel circumference :(

Two questions here, can I get the wheel fixed and back in shape? and also, can I buy a single wheel cap for my Indica Turbo from the Tata Spare shop?

hi ,

you can get it done from any good tyre selling shop who has a rim straightener. but check the quality of work done and get the rim balanced. for hub caps you need to ask them whether they keep spares with them i hope they do otherwise u can surce them for any descent local spare parts shop

You can get a single wheel cap if you have good relations with service managers. It will cost 200+rs.
Better go to an independent shop and take the same thing for 150 odd.
The DLS cap costs 100rs/piece. So if yours is a full cap it will be more.

As for straightening, don't go to somebody who uses a hammer. I did and had to buy a new wheel for 750rs. Instead go to a tire shop with the straightening machine.

A good wheel straightening place will do the job, the same happened to my Marina 6+ months back on the way to Ludhaina, the tyre shop charged Rs 40 per rim. Yes you can buy the full caps individualy (its a DLG i guess) @ 475 per piece last when i bought them.
