Really a good move by Fiat to build the confidence in the buyers and I think they are following the Hyundai way.
Anyway at last the cutomers are benifited

I got an email too. Honestly, this is the first time they doing this. Now whats needed is to bring down the price of spares a bit.

Imagine having to pay 460 for a single wheel nut.

I got the email too. Hopefully, it is for all Fiats and not just the Punto/ Linea. Frankly, though, since it is the same TASC guys who are doing the check-up, I will doubt the diagnosis anyway. Have been trying to get them to sort out a clicking sound from the front, and a rattle from the rear door for the past six months and no results. So my expectations are low from this one....

If the spare parts price comes down there is no stopping for the used car market and the prices of the same will increase like anything.

Attended the Pune camp !!
Excellent initiative by Fiat.
They had a 44 point checklist. Officials from Fiat were present greeting and meeting all Fiat owners. I had a nice long discussion with Mr.Ravi Bhatia. Mangesh Kodalkar of course was present.

I got the mail too. Unfortunately, I will not be at Bangalore during the March 06-07 weekend. So, I will not be able to participate in that.

This is what I was hoping for. This may be because Pune is there base anyways. Let us hope that they are travelling with this caravan. Are fiat guys going to be present at all venues, or only at Concorde or something?

I think only in major cities they might give a visit. Fiat officials coming to all the location is doubtfull. But you never know. They might have taken Indian customer seriously and may be present in all locations.
