Lightbulb Attention all Tata DICOR vehicle owners!

Dear All,
As per an internal circular of TATA motors a 'modified fuel filter' has been introduced for all their DICOR vehicles to "improve filtration".
The Chassis Break Points are:
601453GSZA1834 Tata Indigo lx 1.4L DICOR

403063FSZN10126 Tata Safari 3.0L DICOR

Next time you get your DICORs serviced please ensure you get the new fuel filter assembly (Part No. 2534 0911 0117).

The break points mean that any chassis numbered after this will require the new filters? I got my Indigo Marina on 14th Aug 07, do I need to get them changed as well?

Yes, if your chasis number is after what is stated above, or better, check with your service station.

I think the breakpoint means "till here and no more". Which basically means the chassis nos. after this already have the new filter. Which also makes sense.

Vehicles manufactured before this chassis no. will need the retrofitment.
