Next time remember that Clutch and Brake oil reservoir for the Palio's is the same and takes the same spec oil. Don't pay him twice for the same job .

I am 100% sure that the brake and clutch oil in the Palio are same (May be he gave you two for quantity) and they go in the same can. Actually the same can that is now mounted on your strut brace (White with yellow cap).

I had also given you an option to get the car fixed from a local garage which he recommended if you couldn't afford the labour costs and other expenses involved in getting your car fixed at an authorized dealership.
What you did here:
1) Got the car checked from an authorized dealership under supervision of a technical guy who knows what he is doing for a few years and is very well experienced at that.
2) He checked your car religiously from the head lamp to the tail lamp and gave you various options in repairing, replacing, fixing it under various budget constraints. He handed over the paper to you and you went to a local garage with it to fix it.
3) Now I know the local garage you went to and his technical abilities to handle modern day cars. (Atleast I can analyse it when he changes a strut mount for fixing a steering jam problem).
4) On top of it you openly claim that " tryed this but they said the rack has to be changed without having a look at it 17k+5k labour." which is absolutely wrong.
5) Even if your steering is smoother than before I would still say your rack is jacked and you can take your own decisions with all due respect to your car. But rest assured I wouldn't advise or request people I know to check your car F.O.C. you are open to advises from others and can take help from them ok?

Enjoy your drives.
thanks a lot kiran . ill keep this in mind ,and improve from the next time ..thanks again

Thanks Sameer and lets just get over this now. Payam should know what is right for him and he is good to go for now. Payam whenever possible get the following jobs done:

First and foremost get your brakes fixed because they are absolutely DEAD.
Then get the following jobs done:

Tappet corner gasket + O ring replacement.
Timing belt replacement along with tensioner bearing.
Throttle body overhauling
Injectors cleaning

This should get the engine in perfect running state. Then you can look at the suspension.

Did you get the timing belt and tensioner replaced?
Injectors cleaned?

I am sure the mech cannot do this because it requires special tools which the mech doesn't have.

Default yes!!

yes
there is a bearing ,fixed in a metal base then rubber moulded in another metal housing .
the bearing holds the strut and the outer metal bracket is used for mounting the strut assembly on the apron.
this arrangement smoothens out the lateral and torsional loads on the strut+ apron mount
the strut movement is not hampered by this arrangement . just check the three dimensional movement at the strut top when u turn the steering ... its amazing ..
yes . fiat is really good when it comes to engg- - all thanks to lancia!
