Hi wildon , My sis is going to take the delivery of Grande punto tomorrow morning.The idiot SA has not given us the VIN yet and he has told us it it 2010 model.I need to tconfirm this tomorrow.Is there any guide that you use to decode the VIN of Fiat ?Could you share it with us ? Else can you tell me how to decode only the year and month ?

If you want to know the Month/Year look at the Last 3 letter of VIN

if its ANZ = January 2010
BNZ = February 2010
CNZ = March 2010

Thanks. Even I was more or less convinced about the 2009 year part. But Nano of that vintage being delivered in March?

The number is the way it was written in the allotment sheet with the dealer.
