Finding the VIN & manufacturing date/year on Indian cars

Check under the boot/bonnet there you can find out 2 Letters other than the 17 digit VIN number. If the letters are EA then it May 2010 Vehicle, If its DA = April 2010.

I think you meant MCA118A550 if so its a Grande Punto 1.3 16V E3 75CV/55KW EMOTION PACK, Manufactured on September 2009.

Hmm. I thought it was 118A500. Anyway I have rejected this car during my PDI today since I had asked for a 2010 model. Thanks for the help and thanks heavens I caught this!!
