I have Kiran's email Id. I had enquired and have received some material about the Eureka kit from him. Not sure whether I'm allowed to post it on the forum.

Kiran's (AutoEscorts) Mail Id: kiran.bhide@rediffmail.com you can also try autoescorts@rediffmail.com . I received quick response from Kiran's ID.

He has quoted 3.5K for M800 (Replaces CB points, ignition Coils etc.) and there is another one which replaces only the CB points quoted for 1.5K.

Will PM you the documents I received.

sorry its a rather late reply.

But had done this on my old carb 800. Well there was some improvement in FE , a marginal increase in power and smoothness but the most important thing is that even if you drive thru a little poodle on the rod and splash water on the coil , point condenser , the engine would not sputter and die on you.
i had put a single point one but i guess multi point after market sets are available.

Having said that you can even put booster brake kit in your car. Spectra motors used to sell the KBX setup thru their retail outlet ( now closed ). I had installed one in my 800 , the assisted brakes made life a lot easier.
It ought to be primary safety requirement of any vehicle !

I have got KBX Brake Booster installed in my M800. It is working perfect. I recommend it to all of those who would consider improving braking efficiency.

Hi Shashank,

I believe it can be used for any carb. car. If u sift thru one of the car magazines you may even find a dealer for the same in delhi.
We are discussing 800 here as the question was pertaining to it.
Afterfitment of power steering , boosted brakes kits and electronic ignition to older gen. of vehicles is very much possible.
Only one has to take trouble to find a right vendor to procure stuff from and right technician to modify.

Dear Friends,

I got my last Maruti 800 fitted with Eureka Magnetic Pulse Proximity Sensing MPPS ignition system from Kiran Bhide, Auto Escorts, Mumbai. I have my car in prestine condition, with no issues of fuel consumption, pickup etc. After I got the kit installed, there is a whooping 30% increase in throttle response. I use the car mostly on highways, always wondered about retrofitting an ECU, but now, I am happy with this fitment. The kit consists of transistorised modules, a magnetic pickup, and a series of induction coils and offcourse the NGK platinum spark plugs. It took 50 minutes to install, his guy came to my home in Mumbai and did a decent job. It costed me Rs 3200 + Rs 600 for the spark plugs. Installed it on Saturday. Drove it till Ahmedabad the next day. The main point is this kit improves engine efficiency to stock conditioned cars also.
