Labelling on plastic instruments
is coming out
..
....
Although it may look a bit weired
this thing annoys me.

Can anything be done like repainting etc

Nothing can be done about that, IMO. But those do not look like they are genuine. Genuine stems last quite a while (10 Years or more) without peeling off.

I am thinking of replacing it with a new one, any guess about cost of this knob/Switch?

You can do Pad Printing the same. Actually, the process of printing on a plastic is as below: you need to take out the worn out portion make a die for logo/letters that has worn out and you can print the same. The cost may vary between 1K to 3K depending on the design.

Have I scared you? Actually, the above is the correct process of printing on plastic parts by ink. Pls contact any printer who prints on plastics. He will be able to guide you.

wrap it with transparent cellotape!

As long as you know which direction to turn it for what, why do you need those prints. If your switches work fine, just leave it as it is.
