^^ I am using the same one bought from DealExtreme.
I don't really see any difference and don't think that these things really work!

The ones which finetuning talked about are for 725$ on the net! So obviously these cheap ones will not work. I have had a similar one for a year now...do not see any difference.

You can also buy cheap Chinese made Negative ion generators from electronics shop. I saw one such unit selling for rs.550/- in Richie street in Madras.

Default HEPA filters

Bumping an old thread.
I am looking HEPA filters for home & car? What are the costs involved?
Also can home HEPA filter be fitted only in an air conditioned room?

I have used similar one. ($6 from US)
It worked for almost a year, then stopped working.
I could feel some difference while using it.
The dust settles down fast.

Some of the domestic Air Conditioners are having ionic air purifiers in-built to it. The manufacturers claim that it delivers fresh air.
Anybody thought of using the same concept integrated with the car AC?
Or is there any such thing already available?
