Default Santro Xing RPM unstable.

HI there

I recently bought a Santro Xing. Till date the car has done only 700 kms. I am experiencing a strange problem with a the car. The RPM increases whenever the clutch is engaded. The is quite noticable in B2B traffic. its a shame that Santro don't have a rev meter, but the increase of the RPM is quite noticeable in the Cabin. Roughly the RPM goes to 2500 revs to 3000 revs and comes to normal in few seconds. The car has NO auto clutch.

I would really appreciate if somebody could advice me on this.

Many Thanks

Amit
