This is 'rooobbish' as Geoff Boycott would have said. I've yet to see or hear of a device that when externally installed can reduce carbon deposits.

If I remember correctly, this product was discussed elsewhere on the forum.

i paid 65k for my accent crdi. the engine conked at 80k kms.

if you tell them that certain parts are not needed, they wont give warranty on the engine. ii got a 6 months unlimited milage warranty.

What kind of warranty do they give on the engine after replacement? Mine is 5 years old and has done close to 90000 kms. Did your car start giving any sudden problems which prompted the work?

I understand that such a used engine as mine will give problems. But sudden seizures after a service due to oil not flowing has to be attributed to some faulty procedure in their service for which I am now being forced to pay.

Had checked on the hyundai website and have sent two mails to cr@hmil.net with no response. Is there any other place I can escalate?
