One of my friend's father has a Beetle garage but he is in Goa. One of the best but these days dosent take any work. If you dont get anyone in Mumbai let me know, he can be trusted. Does the work more out of passion then the money.

Please guys dont ask me to reveal his identity here, he is bit old now 60+ and a bit cranky so wouldnt like hearing that i revealed his whereabouts.

I suppose you can contact any one of our team bhp members Naren and Pavan Kadam who are very active Beetle enthusiasts and search for this thread to contact them here "Bangalore Beetle Club" . They are here in bangalore but can give you pointers about any issue as i suppose they believe in DIY and their maintenance of the classics is just awesome. Contact them and you might be lucky.
