Question what's really there different in premium petrols/diesels?

as the subject line goes. anyone know what's different in each of the different brands out there? i mean exactly what benefits does each provide (some first hand experiences would be nice too).

and the other thing i came across was iftex system G. how is this different from what's in the premium fuels? does it really help clean up carbon deposits like the website claims?
IFTEX- fuel additives
