I searched around but didnt get any thread on this.

The Getz door pillar sticker/user manual specifies 30 psi all over as ideal air pressure for 1-2 passenger load. However, I always felt this was slightly inadequate.

While reading through Car Bibles : The Wheel and Tyre Bible Page 2 of 2, I came across a section which states

"According to the wags on many internet forums you can get the best performance by inflating them to 10% less than their recommended maximum pressure. It's a vague rule of thumb, and given that every car is different in weight and handling, it's a bit of a sledgehammer approach. But from my experience it does seem to provide a better starting point for adjusting tyre pressures."

Does anyone know whats the maximum and ideal air pressure for Getz 1.3 stock tires?

I replaced my stock 155/80 goodyear to 175/70 Michelin XM1s on my Getz GVS 1.3 . I usually set the tyre pressure to 30psi every 2 weeks when refuelling. Invariably the tyres lose 1-2 psi over that period and the lower pressure adds to ride comfort, but i'm wary of any uneven/premature tyre wear.

I have Getz CRDI -Diesel Version which has tyres 195/6015R.
which needs & hyundai recommeds the tyre pressure to 33 psi as the diesel engine is heavy..
While my petrol Getz has company tyres -right pressure is 30 PSI
:thumbs up

I would always stick to the manufacturer's recommendations.

i use 30psi and it seems fine. the ride gets a bit better with 28psi.

The tyre manufacturer's recommended maximum air pressure will be marked on the tyres and will ususally be either 40 or 44 psi. This suggestion is good when roads are very good. On bad roads, your ride comfort will come down and handling also may be affected when tyre pressures are high.
