Nice looking buggies, and nicer to know that this sport is active in India.

This is the original Buggy that i would love to own.

whichever college's car that is,

a few points,
(i dont know whether this car passed scrutineering, and i dont know BAJA rules, i know the Formula SAE rules in detail though)

1. you could have stiffer spring on the rear rather than using two sets of dampers and springs. would save weight.

2. the damper mounts on the chassis side and on the upright side should have 3 degrees of movement. that can be achieved by putting in washers between the brackets and the bearing. it this is not done there is unnecessary stress on the bracket and bearing under heavy braking and acceleration.
(this comes from the scrutineer's at formula student germany, those guys are super professionals and also very scrict)

3. i dont know about the rules, but i guess there should be some protection for the driver from things flying off the road, this is more important while off-roading, so there should be atleast a floor-board

4. one more safety issue, i think there is no heat shield between engine and driver. i think there should be one.

we would love to take part in baja india, but cant do that because all our man-power is dedicated to fsae.

but lets see. maybe next year we'll think about it.

also, to all teams,
you people are welcome to ask us for tips and how-to's, we are more than willing to share our formula student experiences and knowledge, also we'll get to learn from your experiences
