Default Issue with NHC VTEC

Hi,
I have NHC VTEC running on stock tyres (for around 28k). I am facing issues while braking, especially on wet road. It has become very unpredictable & sometimes car skids (Haven't faced this issue before). Has any NHC owner faced this issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem? Will changing tyres help in this case?

Check the brakes,, something the rear brake ware out and since they are drum and front are discs the cars stops but the car become unstable while braking.
Does it have ABS?

I think the VTEC has all four discs and no drums.

My bad it's a NHC, there a a thread about the new city with abs skidding, where honda engineers told the owner to upsize the wheel and tyres to 15 incher, as abs is caliberated for that size.

It doesn't have ABS. I had a look at the thread with discussion on skidding. Seems wider tyres is good option. I was bit curious as I have not faced this issue in rainy season last year and no change in way I drive.

You have done 28000 km on those tyres right? than tyre change is due in another 8000 -10,000 km get up size tyres and you'll be fine. Last year you had more tried on the tyres compared to this year thats it.
