Default Wire Mesh effect on Paint.

As you know carbon fibre is very expensive and its hard to get people who work on it in India.
So the question is, has anyone got the knowledge about 'wire mesh effect' on Paint. Has any body tried it? WHo does it and where?

Thanks

I think there is a process called Block Printing or something which gives the CF effect.

Hi SirAlec,

If all you're looking for is the carbon-fiber "look", you could get them look-alike stickers - they're available in rolls.

I guess you'd just have to stick them on & apply some clear on it. I'm told when done right, it's literally impossible to tell the difference by sight

I saw several such rolls in Speed-Freaks (Anna-Nagar), Chennai, last weekend. There was even a thread regarding these stickers here on team-bhp...

And, please do post pictures once you're done

Carbon fiber finish on that M800 is not a paint job. It's a sticker job, but a good one!
