How is the clutch feel / slippage etc ?

Once you open up to change the clutch bearing see what is the condition of clutch , pressure plate , flywheel too and then you can make a informed decision whether to change or not .

You can just change the clutch bearing too .

You need to check the hardness of your clutch , how much the clutch cable has been tightened etc.All these are good indicators of health of clutch.
Also when you start from idling if there are any judders then flywheel, pressure plate can be culprit .
I believe Zen's clutch plate can easily last 1,00,000kms if driven properly .

Another one is hit the rev limiter on first and immediately shift to second and see if you can get the wheel spinning (on a mpfi zen though) .If yes you have a great clutch and a great healthy engine .

Guys,

Valeo is OEM for Hyundai cars, as well as suppliers for Exedy. So, Valeo wins hands down.
