One question. Can we change the front grill of an old lancer to a new model's grill? I mean the latest model grill with the vertical teeth if I may call it so.

This is off topic, but to answer your question, you can change the grille to the new shape, but you will have to change the bonnet as well. The older bonnet is shaped differently in front and won't fit with the new grille.
A cheaper option is to get a custom-made grille.

Razor missed the head lights, so it will run even more expensive. The head lights are different, the indian lancer 99-2002 is based on Evo4 and 2003 - 2009 evo 5 (not counting cedia as lancer)

Hi redeye, what did you finally get done on the suspension front, and from where ? My Lancer needs rear suspension work too, so thought to ask

Regards,

It Turns out that my suspensions were just fine. I took my car to Car Nation bannerghatta road and got them checked, there was a problem with the front lower arms got them both replaced , now the car has no noise and feels good on the roads again.

Front lower arms are part of the front suspension :-) So, was Car Nation knowledgeable about Lancer front suspension and with topics like torque settings for the various bolts etc (to change the front arm, they would need to unbolt and bolt back the new arms) ?
And you used OEM or aftermarket parts ?

I downloaded the Mirage service manual from another thread in tbhp, but I am not sure if the torque ratings for various bolts in the suspension are exactly same for the Indian Lancer ?

Sorry no idea about the torque settings for various bolts etc I didn't ask them regarding that. Yes they need to unbolt and bolt back the new arms :-). I used OEM parts.
