First of all efficiency is not measured only as Output/energy consumed.
There are infinite yardsticks by which you could measure efficiency.

This setup is definitely more powerful per unit displacement (if not efficient in conventional terms) than any other setup in the world.

Reason - The supercharger is driven by a separate gas turbine for god's sake! The turbine is an aux. unit from a chopper, which means it is extremely light but powerful. And what about the zero lag - Full power from the word Go!

LOL at the keyboard jockeys in this thread. The guy broke a record with a car that took 10 years to build and he still has to listen to free advice. He probably went through thousands of permutations and combinations to arrive at something that helped him reach where he is.

That Puma is FAST, any more info available on it?
