Its possible - but m-seal becomes rock hard when it dries, i'd imagine that the silicon sealant would do a much better job, as it dries to become rubbery and flexible. Better for a proper seal i would imagine.

the silicon with the gun will cost less than Rs 500 at the hardwares stores.Just make sure you scrape the old glue from your lights (as much as possible) puts the silicon glue lavishly in the groove (only) put the lights together and tie it up with a rope tightly for the night.. the next morning you shud have the light ready for fitting!
