Default power steering problem in fiat siena 1.6

hi all.
my fiat siena has clocked 93000+ kms and is in perfect health.yesterday , i changed my tyres to yokohoma 185/70/R13 A drives all round. while driving back home form tyre centre i did not notice any issue with steering. however since today morning, i have noticed that the steering ( which was butter smooth with my earlier michelin XM1, same size) has become very hard when turned either to left or right. its a kind of lumpy when turned, and to make things worse it stays in that position and you need to pull to straight . however on straight line, drive is fine. Power steering belt is fine, fluid excellent, alignment and balancing done yesterday while putting the new set of tyres, no issue with lower arms nor sturts. what could be the issue? any help from you guys? Madhus tyres says, no issue with yokohoma. thanks in advance

Hi Nutmello,
There has nothing gone wrong with any of the steering or suspension parts. It should be because of the widers tyres which now has a larger contact patch. BTW what were the dimensions of the tyre with which you were running previously?
