can a failing ignition coil cause interminnent drop in rpm ( scenario: when the foot is on clutch, foot off accelerator, slowing down and shifting to lower gear). Just a momentary drop when i press the clutch and slow down while shifting to lowe gear.

Bumping this thread as no answer to my previous question

Please answer the question in the previous post and also this new doubt that I have.

Will a 1.6 8V ignition coil be compatible on a 1.48V car ?

Thanks
