Default How to adjust idling of indica turbo V2

Hi,
I would like to adjust the idling when the Radiator fan is on. Idling rpm when the fan is ON drops to 750 and causing a lot of vibrations to steering wheel as well the gear level. I am able to adjust the idle when the AC is ON/OFF.

Can somebody shed some light on this. I've contacted several TASC, but the response is " It is normal ".

RPM at idle ( AC OFF ) : 850
RPM at idle ( AC ON ) : 950

help !!!!

Its not a carburetor screw that you turn and adjust, its controlled by the ECU and cannot be done as a DIY.

to my belief, there are 3 adjustments ( screw type ) with which we can adjust the idling ( idling when AC is OFF, idling when AC is ON etc ). But am not sure which one or which pair to turn to adjust the idle RPM when the radiator fan is ON. Any thoughts ?

There is no reason why the idling should drop when the fan is ON. It indicates that the fan is putting excessive load on the alternator, causing the RPM to drop. This needs to be checked.

Your problem will not be solved by adjusting idling RPM. As such, there is no FICD for radiator fan!

Your idle speeds are about 100 rpm below normal in all cases, do get the FICD checked.

@greenhorn, thanks a lot for the URL's . I've gone thorough it and it was of great help. I went by some tread from that groups and adjusted the black screw for the idling with AC off and the long rod from the actuator for the idle with AC ON.

This forum ROCKS

Cheers !!
