Hello all
Can you all help in listing out the best methods of cleaning a car radiator with out having to remove it from the car itself.

Get it flushed from the service centre.
Just open the readiator hose at the bottom of the raditor and allow all the coolant to drain out.Then you can flush it with distilled water and then refit the hose back and fill up the radiator with coolant and distilled water mixture.Also remember to clean out the reserve tank as well.

This will flush just the radiator, but not all the coolant passages in the engine (ie the entire cooling system - recommended).
bsa1955, pretty much any radiator-flush fluid you buy will have detailed instructions on the package.
Which one is the best? I'm not sure -- but we have many threads on this. Please do search.

My experience is once car has run started showing heating issues , AC insufficient cooling in spite of fine AC it is best to get a new radiator . Cleaning is too difficult as the fins are too marrow.Though some mechanics open the radiator jacket and use a wire to clean the pipes .The issue here is we loose the pressure bearing capability of jacket as it is no where the OEM specs now .Other methods like using chemicals can never restore your radiator to new condition.
