Not very sure about the Indigo tank but the Indica tank is 37 litres.
The consumption varies depending on traffic (jams).

For the last fill, it took in 24.997 litres for 276 km giving 11.04 kmpl. My driving is with 100% A/C in Chennai city and I normally follow the 15-30-45-60 routine for upshifting.

Some more data in case you're interested:
First tankful at odo reading 46
Latest tankful at odo reading 45308
Fuel filled: 4114.40 litres
Overall mileage over 45262 km: 11.00 kmpl

Current odo reading is 45485 which has been 90% city and 10% highway.

Wow!! You really keep a record. I normally record for around 5000kms and then stop. Then again i start recording for few thousand kms and stop. 11kmpl is a great number for a car this size.

Hi RX135,

Indigo tank is 42 L. I started following rules and using only HP Power, as one article in overdrive says Hp power is the second one to give good mileage. In pune i dint find SHELL petrol.

One more ? , how to reduce the front suspension noise, it irritates. It started when i put the air pressure to 30-32 psi in my 175/65 R14 GPS2 tyre. Goodyear website says to 35 psi & indigo manual says 26 psi so i opt for 30-32.

also, when i start AC, some noise comes (something like roar ) is it common in indigo. i read somewhere abt AC fan belt problem in TATA cars. Going to rectify this in coming weekend.

If there is moisture on the belts, you might hear a noise for a short while. This should disappear but in case it persists, ask your TASC to check the belt tension.

30-32 is toooo high man. What goodyear says is the max pressure, not recommended. So you put in about 2psi above manufacturor, ie 28.

totalling 18905.98. The costs include charges for paid service, consumables, parts (filters etc.), wheel balancing / alignment. All maintenance has been carried out only at Concorde Guindy, Chennai.

Note: although the oil change interval is 10K, I have started changing the oil every 5K since the 35K service.

I don't have the complete list of parts changed right now (not that many anyway) but will surely include the complete list in my long term review.

Hi TSK,

Yes, i knew but this tyre have rating of "T" not "H" (mostly GPS2 tyre have that one). I read the tyre and MAX PSI is 44. This is the link -

Does not matter. You should always keep the pressure above manufacturors recommendation. In your case 28 or 29psi would be fine
