Any good machine shop should be able to make a boss for you....its not that hard. Just give them the original steering wheel; Alternatively you can find an old steering wheel, rip out the boss, & mount the new wheel onto it with minimum modification.

Your opel steering doesnt come with anything called a boss kit. The wheel is moulded around the boss so you have to destroy the wheel to get at the boss.

Hey what's this "boss kit". Are you guys trying to line up the hole pattern? The one's I've seen have a spline (male on the steering shaft and female on the steering wheel) and that has to match.

He's referring to the part which is needed to mount any wheel onto the steering column: Its a cylindrical part made of alloy & has a female spline on the center; there are holes onto which the wheel is bolted using allen-head bolts.

Dadude

The Opel Corsa Sail is sold in Dubai under a different Opel model name - I cant remember the exact name...you should therefore be able to get them to give you a suitable steering for that model.

EDIT: Just checked the Gulf News classifieds online and I think its called the Opel Vita.

boss kits are not to hard to find and should not cost too much.

if you can't get a suitable boss kit you can always sell the steering wheel.
