Second hand ignition was bought from Chor bazaar and the connector was removed. You dont get connectors as spare. The lever was made by the lock smith. Replaced the faulty connector and it works. One key for the entire car.

Total damage- INR 1300 which is the cheapest bet, considering a new barrel itself costs 1800 + labour.
Replying 6 months too late: I too ended up doing a similar thing. Replaced the electronic/electric innards into the old assembly and now use one key only!
