Zen AT - query on autobox
just bought a used card, 2002 model Zen AX/AT for my wife. The query is on the autobox.
the available transmission are P, R, N, D, D2, and L.
someone please help on finding the difference between D, D2 and L? for me, on driving it feels like shifting down from D to D2 and L.

I'm not so familiar with these Auto box's but, AFAIK,
D - Regualr Drive mode, in which box' uses all gears.
D2 - A shorter version of D, and only gears 1 & 2 are used.
L - Should be Low gear, where only 1st is used.
- Experts please comment.

dhanushs is correct.
Most cases you will use only 'D'.
D2 / L comes into play only during 'down slopes' where you need to restrict the car to 1st or 2nd gears only.

Its pretty simple that way. Use only D for your every day driving. Your Zen AT comes with a 3 speed auto box. In D mode the tranny shifts all three gears . In D2 it will shift only gears one and 2 and stay that way. In L mode only one gear will be available. use D2 and L to negiotiate steep inclines when driving. These modes give you extra torque.
In normal driving D, if you want to = down shift in order to shoot off or in case of overtaking, just push down the pedal hard and the gear box will perform a downshift.
