Yesterday, I got the car cleaned from Car Care Zone. I got it done for Rs. 299/- through Snapdeal offer. Following services were included:

-Car wash
-Check-up (clutch, breaks, lights)
-Interior vacuuming
-Wheel alignment
-Car polish
-Timing setting
-RPM setting
-Free pick up and drop

Overall I am happy with the deal I got.

I am a big fan of the wide Internal rear view mirror ;use one called Broadway since 2000.

The steering remote is a VFM fix for those choosing mid or low variants.

Coming to your car wash package,I am surprised how the rpm setting and timing setting were done

It's just verification of idle time RPM as per standard specs. Regarding wide IRVM, I guess mine too is Broadway.

It's been exactly a week and Ritz has covered 2000 KM in last seven days. It is a pleasure to drive. Drove for around 560 KM in a single day. Not even once did I face back or leg pain. It returned amazing FE in the range of 20.5 & 21. Good Engine, VFM pricing, Great comfort, Practical features and now, a good FE on highways. Why shouldn't one love this car?

WOW, 21 kmpl, that's truly awesome , how did you manage to get this ? By any chance did you swap your K12 with a DDIS before the trip

True, i also made some highways runs, drove non stop and didnt feel the need to stop.

Im sure most of the RItz owners are really happy with their Ritzy

Cheers.

Haha...even I don't know. This was the first time I got such a high FE. Tried to be as sedate as I possibly could. 5'th gear, Speed of 80-100, Max. speed of 120-130, less braking.

Second free inspection has been done recently. Crossed 5000 KM mark within 3 months. No major issues. It was carried out smoothly.

Yes indeed the Ritz is a very comfortable car. The seating position is perfect for long or short drives, for tall drivers there is no stress put on the legs or the back, this is a major plus point of the Ritz.

Ritz has recently crossed the 7000 KM mark. There are not any issues at all. The ride is smooth and rattle-free!

Just came back from a Goa Trip. Ritzy covered around 1000 KM during this trip. It is one of the best hatchbacks for long drives. Perfect seating position and thigh/back support. It always brings smile on your face!

Also met fellow Team-BHPian Amogh (Id: AKTARCAR) in Panajim. It was great to meet him! He advised to prefer Amboli route instead of Belgaum Road for return journey. And it was spot on! Thanks a lot!

Its always nice to see a happy ownership report

considering you have run ~ 8000KM in 6 months time any reason you didnt consider a Ritz in its diesel avatar?

Your inputs would be most welcome.

"Head vs heart" I would say. During purchase process, head says that the car is not going to travel more than 800km/month. And after purchase, heart will push you to drive the car more an more. I also have Ritz Vxi and has already breached 20k mark within 1 year!!!

Hope you had a pleasant stay in Goa. Having driven my brother-in-law's Ritz, I must say that the drive/ride quality for a tall-bodied hatch is top notch. The seats are very comfortable and placing one's foot on the inclined portion below the pedals is a decent substitute for a dead pedal!

The Ritz also feels extremely stable in comparison to my i10.

Hi Guys!!
I am now a new (and extremely proud!!) owner of a Silver coloured RITX VXI. Much of my decision to buy a Ritz was based on the reviews of Panko and other Ritz petrol owners.
My car is just 2 weeks old, so i guess you can understand how paranoid i am about every aspect of the car.
Yesterday I heard some sound, most probably emitting from my seat belt setup. I remember someone referring to something of that sort in this thread.
COuld you all please advice me on this issue? Does the seat belt have problems that need to be rectified? Since i have my first free servicing in the coming weeks, i think I can get it resolved.

Hi Amitayu.
Congrats on your Ritzy.
What i will advise you, for the time being just enjoy your new ride but make a list of things which you would like to be checked during the service.
And when you go for the service ask the SA to test the drive and point out the sounds that you are hearing, im sure they will be able to fix it .

Also i don't think there is any know issues with seat belt.

Hope it helps .

Cheers
