You might also want to consider the blackened kidney-grille. It will give it a more complete look. With all that carbon-fiber vinyl and bits that's planned, a chrome grille would look out of place, I believe. Do consider that, if you haven't already.

Suhaas, a bit sleepy at this time? The first item in the list is gloss black grilles. The chrome grilles don't go well with the colour at all, black will look great.

Yes, my eyes are rather droopy! Been having a rough couple of days.

What else is planned for the 3? I know that you've ruled out the possibility of slamming your car with larger wheels. But please don't rule that out just yet. The optional M wheels would really set your ride of, man! *winks*

The M wheels offered here are crap to say the least. They don't look nice at all. Infact these rims painted gunmetal would look great (hint). I do want to change to tubeless ASAP hence all my antics with DTC off.

The powerkit is a sure thing, the only issue is I don't know when.

Also BMW has apparently launched a limited edition 3 series, with the M-tech kit, which is standard on the 330i. Thats one thing I wish I had.

To each his own then, Akshay. I quite like the M wheels offered as an option, for the 3.

Powder-coating them gun-metal would be a great option, but nothing like going one size up is what I'm saying

Any link on the M-tech kit?

One size up would kill the ride even more. As we go forward this is going to be used more, so can't compromise on the ride.

Heres a pic to the M-tech 320D -

The rims you like are on it.

Also received an email from the dealer about the pricing for a few accessories. To name a few the CF package consisting of what all I'm going to buy is for 2 lacs, needless to say I'm going to buy replicas. Also to retrofit front parking sensors is 70k, what was BMW thinking in the first place offering front sensors only on the 330i.

ya agree, the 320d high line should have front parking sensors, retrofitting them will be difficult but possible, the marking for the front holes will be behind the bumper but 70k doesn't make sense Whats the ride height of the 320d?

Thanks..

The ride height is 15x mm if I remember correctly. But it has not scraped anywhere in Mumbai yet. The stiff suspension helps in that case.

I've picked up a couple of little thingies for this car, which you shall see soon. Driving it after a month, I can't wait. I hope the car looks good when I'm done.

How about some pics? I'm sure it looks great now. Can't wait for my stuff to arrive. Still need to make the angel eyes white though.

Post a few pics here why not

There are a couple of options to make the angel eyes white. The easiest and cheapest would be to just get white H8 size bulbs and switch them with the bulbs present. The second is to get a good set of LEDs like the Lux H8 kit which is $250. Then you can also get HIDs in there for $170 odd, but those will be too bright IMO.
