Hello, I am planning to buy new SUV,The SUV i have shortlisted in 12-14 lacs range : Scorpio VLX AT 4WD, XUV 500 W8 FWD, Force One SX , Tata safari vlx.

Among these which is suggested buy based on following factors

Engine performance and reliability
Comfort level while driving on potholes (since bangalore has lots of them),
Fuel efficiency
Service network (since i plan to keep for at least 5-6 years).

Based on above what should i go for. i am kind of in dilemma which to buy.

Thumbs up Re: Force One: Test Drive & Review

Finally Force motors launched their "Force One 4x4" LX model at INR 13.74 lacs (ex-showroom Navi Mumbai).

Please check the attached link from Indian Autos Blog.
http://indianautosblog.com/2014/05/f...aunched-131773

Their website also updated mentioning bookings open for 4x4 model. http://www.forceone.co.in/

Unfortunately even top-end model does not have airbags although equipped with ABS and EBD. But feature list looks nice at least on paper that too clubbed with 4x4 system and 3 row front facing seats.

Cheers,
Sameer.

Hi all,

Is there any help / content available on how to decode the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) for Force Vehicles? I couldn't find it on the net in the Team-BHP thread that talks about VIN for different manufacturers.

Thanks,
C_

Please choose between the Storme or the XUV. Don't look at Safari or the Scorpio because they are old cars, and don't choose the Force because I am sure no one in this forum has purchased one.

Hi all,

I am planning to upgrade from my old Zen Estilo to a so called SUV for Indian market. Somehow since I saw Force One, I have fallen in love with its sheer presence on road. DO you think in the latest models of xuv 500, BRV, Duster etc, its a good choice to buy Force One SUV which is quite old in terms of features etc.

Thanks,
Sanjeev

A resounding No! Don't waste your hard earned money on a product that 99.9% of the forum, doesn't even think fit to discuss, and for the right reasons too.

As they say if you love something let it free . Get the brochure, wall posters with amitab bachan, etcc. but don't buy it. That way you an continue to love it without owning it. Cause once you buy it, the love affair won't last long. There are so many modern options available on the market. If you want a body on frame (ladder chasis) SUV in the same price range, the Safari Storme Varicor 400 is the way to go.

Lets focus on Force One here only. I am not sure why it is not being discussed here but I know 2 people who owns this for last 2 years and they continue to be a big fan. I have been with them on couple of long rides and to me it looks like a fantastic SUV with loads of space and power. Also it can be just me who owns only a Fiat Petra and driving it since last 12 years and don't rue a single second that I didn't buy any other car.

Cheers

I will still be interested on views from members on forum who own Force one and is it worth putting 17.16 lakhs on this SUV.

Keep this in mind while buying the Force One - http://www.autocarpro.in/news-nation...continue-10874

Even if they continue to support the product, resale will drop drastically.

Mod Note: Please do not post one-liners that do not contribute to the discussion. Also please search the forums and read through threads before posting queries of whether a particular vehicle is worth buying etc.
