Will update the ownership thread with zillions of pics very soon.

Do share your ownership review as soon as you can!
In fact I had also seen the new Fortuner recently and I liked the new version interiors a lot more than the earlier version's interiors.

Will this Fortuner be replacing any of your current cars (Superb/ XUV) or will it be a new addition?

Regards,
Behemoth
Thanks behemoth.I sold the Superb 2 months back.I will retain XUV for my dad and the fortuner will be a new 2012 addition.
Just completed all the payment formalities, the dealer has promised delivery on my daughter Sarah's first birthday 31st March. Will pen the review very soon.
I totally love the color of your czech laura babe !!

hi friends
Just finished 1000k on odo. First service came and happy with mileage
City 9.8 kmpl
Highway 12.9 kmpl (as per Display on informant system)
Since the vehicle is new .I never went above 120 km/h.
Expected mileage was 11 in city and 14-15 on highway
Let see how it goes up ..because its new?

@neo

Expect an increase in the mileage as the car crosses 5000km, 7000km & 10,000km marks.

The engine would settle by the 1st marker. Also try the Full Tank to Full Tank method to measure the mileage. That is more accurate.

Enjoy your new ride!
Cheers

Congrats to all those who purchased the new fortuner!

I'm surprised at the fuel efficiency figures mentioned here; I'm getting about 7.5km/liter in the city and 10.6km/liter on highways!

My vehicle has done about 6500kms and the second service is also complete.

Got the 4 x 4 fortuner today, topped fuel tank and suprisingly it was 81 litres. Can someone confirm the fueltank capacity?
Tyre pressure was 42psig on all 4 tyres, kept the front tyres at 32 and rear at 30 psig.
All I can say is I love the facelift to the core, ownership review coming on monday till then few teaser pics......

Ok but did you end up paying anything over that? As bribes or agent charges or whatever?

My heartiest congratulations Kedar for joining the Fortuner club. You will realise the simplistic no nonsense approach to driving only with a Toyota. This is much better value conscious choice than the earlier one you were taking. Its bullet proof reliability and frugality will bring a smile to your face every day.

Keep revving, drive safe and post a detailed ownership thread soon.
