Sir,
ABS is not available in base LX version, it is available from LXa.

Also some funny things, Rear Wash & Wiper is not available in base but the Electrical Rear Glass Demister is available.

Thanks,
Vishal.

Correction - ABS with EBD is available in base LX version of Storme - plus all versions of the Storme also get rear disc brakes. Please check the brochure in my previous post.

Another thing I noticed is that the fuel tank capacity has been reduced from 65 to 55 litres.

What is this LXa? Don't see it in the brochure.
Is it a optional variant probably with ABS, 4x4...?

Wow that's gr8 !

Lots of discrepancy in site spec and the brochure you attached.

Nothing is sure unless we see CAR in flesh.

Overall, I feel it is a good product. Looks are subjective so I won't comment on the looks. I can live with the looks, but the biggest improvements are the chasis, turning radius, braking, handling etc. The brochure doesnt' highlight the major improvements over the current safari. The average layman is going to assume that it is old wine in a new bottle. Not having front facing third row is a big disappointment. I also wish they offered an option of grey/black interiors in the higher end models as well.

Spare wheel is now at the bottom. This maybe explain the reduced fuel capacity.

Though I love the Storme, I hate that Tata Motors have not provided an option of 4x4 in lower variants.
Hopefully Tata prices the Storme sensibly.

Yes Vishal I am very surprised, rear wash and wipe is such a basic and important feature in Hatchbacks and SUVs. Besides that NO armrest for Driver and co-driver? Ohh please TATA. and No 4X4 in base variant again. No matter what, Storme will not make numbers for sure.

True but looks like there is lots of discrepancy in information provided at site and in booklet. So lets hope for best. Otherwise we have option of old wine. What say

Like three weeks back, when I drove the Tata Safari Storme, I wanted to change 2-3 things in it immediately, which we could get done through our vendors.

This is funny, Safari LX has rear wash/wiper and the arm-rests for both front seats, i think these should be made standard all across the variants, its an SUV and not a budget hatch!

they should have had a 4x4 option in the lower variant...
