May be that is for international variants. Other members please confirm.

Of late, I feel the engine has become even smoother. The power band which had increased since the 2nd service remains constant, but the initial torque which had gone down slightly has again increased! WOW!

I am surprised how careful a driver i have become. I dont get easily bugged by vehicles rushing by me anymore.

I almost never raise the RPM before the engine cold sign glows off, letting it idle.

I have also realised that in bumper to bumper traffic you dont need the accelerator much. Just maintain crawling speed with your clutch.

Hi 00nuts001,

This could be the combined effect of the Honda City and Team-BHP. I too find a transition in my driving style since bonding with the Honda City. It surely brings out the best behavior in the driver. My wife is also surprised about the change in my driving style.

Need a clarification. Is it only Honda where the peripheral vision has major blind spots, or do other sedans have similar view.? I feel the side vision is quite limited.

Visibility is bit poor near the A pillars. Sides too takes some time getting used to it. That may be because of the low seating. However adjusting the driver seat height should partially solve this.

Have driven few other sedans and its more or less on similar lines. Others can opine.

GA completes 6000 KMs. Should I get the 3rd service done? Think it would be a good idea since the last LKO trip had seen a long haul...
Suggestions please.

Another realization. With my Alto i used to keep the revs high. So my FE was around 13-14. With GA my driving is so sedate my average sticks to around 12. Thus, no major difference as such.

Thanks to the real time FE graph on the MID.

In my opinion, the fog lamps should be placed at a higher angle, so it has a wider spread. At 5.7 of my hieght, i feel the full potential of the fog lamps is not utilized.

The third servicing done. The engine is super smooth now. A light tap on the accelerator and im again being thrown against my seat back.
The average remains at12.1 constant. Driving style still very sedate. A few spirited runs does wonders for my smiles and adrenalin!
I love my car no end. While a verna still gets my corner glances, i know my steed is the best in its class.

Hey 00nuts001,
Nice to read your post and especially the treatment from the Honda Service guys..

On one end we have Ajmat's experience with his Jetta and on the other hand we have your experience with Honda, a world of difference!!

Kudos to Honda. I recall a similar incident when the car was with Hallmark Honda Nerul for accident repair. I had inspected it at their body shop and signed the papers.
However, when the car was got down for delivery I observed a small scratch on the door which I duly brought to the notice of their Service Manager, he apologiesed and repainted the door FOC.

Cheers
MKP

Hi MKP, couldn't agree with you more. In fact, i had my eyes set on a pre_owned Jetta, but could not lay my hands on one.
After reading Ajmat's horror story, I thank God I could not!
I would never have been able to maintain one.
