Membership approved . Your thread definitely deserved my first post since i also have a kizashi and also since you have been the most active kizashi owner on bhp by far. Mine is a black (manual transmission) purchased in November 2012. It has only done around 7K till now since i only take it out on the weekends. My everyday ride is a 2005 Honda city ZX VTEC (CNG).

I also went through your other thread (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/techni...solved-11.html). I think you should now start to update this thread since your car is now trouble-free.

Good choice with a City CVT. How was the resale value of the Kizashi?

I thought he was getting a Brio AT. Is the City instead of the Brio?

The Kizashi selling prove was 5.9L. The reason for the sale was obvious and don't need any repeat.

So that is the reason you asked me why I sold the Kizashi. Well the suspension started making noise again and the clutch was acting up. The mounting repair bills and frequent visits to the ASC meant that it had to make way for another car.

Futher as mentioned above I am moving abroad so didn't want my dad to go through all the mess to maintain the Kizashi.

The original plan of action was to sell the Dzire(yes you read it right) and get a small car for city use. But then Kizashi started acting up and after 2 consecutive world wars in the house a buyer came out of nowhere and took both the cars away.

We were left without a car for 5 days and in the meantime booked amaze but about 4-5 hours later I started thinking that the built to cost feel of the amaze didn't work out for us because the Dzire and Kizashi were much more upmarket in comparison. This is when the third world war kicked in. Asked nearly 50 people for opinion. Let's say that about 95% were in favour of city and the minimal price difference between amaze and city sv CVT meant that all the boxes were ticked. The only reason we were able to get the city was because Honda had the brains to offer safety features and the CVT box in the mid variant.

The resale of the Kizashi hmmm let's see how do I put it. Oh yes I know it was HORRIBLE! lost 3.5 Lakhs as I had to pay it towards the loan. But the insane depreciation rates meant that I had to get rid of it asap.

A small corrction the Kizashi sold for 5.85 Lakhs and the Dzire went for 7.3 Lakhs.
