I would say NO.
IMO, the current grille you have on the E looks much better.

Negative. The current OEM grill you have is so much better looking with the whole look of the car. I would not change it.

Please don't. The current grill is so much nicer with the massive three pointed star staring back at you. It's got tons more character and sex appeal IMHO.

Go for the grille! It brings a bit of class back like it used to be in the yesteryears! And nothing is more glorious than driving with the upright hood emblem in the line of sight. Provided you have a driver to keep an eye on the car from emblem snatchers, in your absence

Thanks for your frank opinions guys.
The plan to get the grill is shelved for a year atleast now.

Meanwhile, my hands are itching to drive the car now.
Come thursday and I am back home to have some fun with it.
Time to take a few nice turns with the ESP off.

A lot of goodies have been bought for the car too.
Pictures and details shall be up soon.

Hi,
Congratulations on your purchase. It's a good choice.

Forget the grill, but you can still install the hood emblem and it costs only Rs 2,500. The fixing is very simple and looks really great.

Thank you so much.
Nope, I cant install two stars on the car, it will look very wannabe. It will either be the star on the grill or the star on the hood.
I doubt an original benz hood star sells for 2.5k

Meanwhile, since I am back in Calcutta.

Greetings
Your e looks stunning. Specially the new lights I have the one prior to this but in my honest opinion this grill looks nice but the feeling of the star visible while driving has a charm of its own.
Fully agree that both the emblems will look a little odd but the hood ornament looks lovely and is something that you look forward to in Merc. In the Germans it's the only one that does come with it.
When I was thinking of the jaguar the first accessory id wanted was the hood-ornament .
Regards
Imran

Thank you so much Imran.
Well, the grill plans have now been shelved for the moment.

I am waiting to do a proper photoshoot of the car, upload some nice pictures and update the thread.
