@Narayan Are these scratches on the panel around the gearbox or just dust?

Just got my Storme delivered, EX variant. I too had the same opinion as yours, the full beige finish in the Vx is boring. Plus having a Manza with the same color had become super boring!

But what's one shocking this I discovered only after delivery, they have discontinued the music system even in the EX variant! The SA mentioned it was available in all variants till last year only.

Really pathetic cost cutting done IMO by TM.

As I can see you've kept the original head unit, are the speaker original or replaced?

Congrats, Rohan ! Wishing you a long happy ownership with the Storme. What color is it ?

The stock speakers were very bad. The ICE dealer did not even take it. I still have the stock HU. I think it is still a blessing in disguise- you can go for a decent ICE set up as per your liking.

Congrats Rohan. Yes the music system was discontinued quite sometime back. I continue to use the stock speakers because I am not a major audio person so I am rarely able to appreciate the difference due to better speakers.

If expected launch I'd mid November, I'm sure manufacturing should have started. Where are the spy pic guys? But Tata showroom in Bangalore doesn't have a test drive vehicle. Must mean something. Eagerly waiting.

Does fitting an aftermarket audio setup breaks the warranty? For lx and ex? As they come without the audio setup.

Secondly, does tata provide any audio setup authorised by themselves?

Third, so the lx has more black interiors? Than other variants?

Fitting aftermarket fog lamps / any other electrical accessory breaks the warranty?

No. Tata will never trouble you in warranty for adding ICE in your car. Anyway - the dealerships are no different in expertise in accessories than our friendly neighbourhood stores. They are just costlier and poorer in workmanship.

AFAIK lx and ex have similar interior trim colour setup.

As for the fogs, there is a high probability that the wiring is already in place and only the lamps are to be installed . Tml is pretty kind on that front. So no question of warranty voiding. If wiring isn't present, still you can add fogs without endangering warranty. Only the installer needs to know the correct wiring bundle and shouldn't cut wires and use the proper connectors.

Hi Reinhard,

Just to address a couple of things:

The LX & EX do have some differences, example from what I could see from narayans interior pics, the rear door & fittings are all black in LX while EX is beige. I prefer the LX option. Also a few extra finish fittings on steering & dash for EX.

Unfortunately no, I had connected with my SA in Wasan Motors for the exact same query & his response was that there is no provision by default. Since also, the default switch of the LX doesn't have option for the fog lamps & the EX switch can't be put in the LX.

Came across this Product in Safari Store of ebay.

http://www.ebay.in/itm/Flomaster-Arm...item3cea7fc248

Thought might be useful for LX Owners

I had this fitted in my Manza 2 years back. But this wouldn't fit in the Storme due to wider gap between the seats.

Have sent a message to the ebay seller for a confirmation and asked for a pictorial representation as well. Let's see..

Having said that, personally i don't think there will be an issue as the Product has the base plates coming in separately and needs to be screwed together based on the width available. So may be this would fit. My concern is based on the positioning of the Air Blower unit for the 2nd row.
