No. It doesnt. GTI headlamps are not a plug and play item for our cars. Need a new BCM for them to work properly

Waiting to see pics of your car with the new bumper!

The GTI rear bumper would look complete, only if you installed the GTI dual exhausts.

Curious about the GTI (Xenon) Lamps. If installed with the BCM, do we get the same result as our foreign counter parts? i.e. do they swivel slightly on steering?

Anyone try enabling the cornering lights?

Yup. They work exactly same. Sugesh from VAGTune has the only one I know who has this installed on his black GT. He needed an upgraded bcm. The lights use the cars level sensor used by the dsg to detect incline for hill hold. The steering angle sensor is the other input to the moving lights. The stock bcm is not capable of handling drl, or cornering function. The upgraded BCM is solves this problem.

Noticed something over the last few days.. I have been driving with tcs off, and the car consistently gave better mileage. Also, FINALLY found a way to defeat ESP... called 'dyno mode'! Hold tcs button for 12 seconds, tcs light come on, and then goes off. Release button when off. Then do something stupid that would get esp to intervene and hit the tcs button again. VOILA! Sold tcs light, esp is off! Wont come on till you turn off the car. Note: this also apparently disables abs, so be wary. Will do some testing over the weekend on my fav autox track and let you know how the car acts.

Cut out the mid pipe resonator and the car picked up some lowend power.. boost is coming on a lot faster, you can feel it! I had a pal with his gt tsi which is also remapped with me, and the difference is very noticeable. Noise is more or less same, slightly throatier. next up is the muffler which will be replaced with a free flow unit. In the meantime all parts for the wrc front will be in by 18th.

Hi Prithwi, sounds like one of the super fast cars(like M3).

Can you please let us know where did you get this done, and approximate cost for the same?
