Also about the drl... Please don't get those chapad L shaped ones, or the single line 8-9 inch long ones. They look really ugly on almost all cars.
Thanku sir

It's just been a little over 6 months with the car, so going by that i am actually driving her alot. All thanks to diesel economy. I've been getting 19.5-20 km/l since last 2-3 fills, in full city driving, including peak hour office traffic.

And ya, i'll be mostly getting those hella style drl's placed nearby number plate.

Yup service interval is 10k kms/1yr. Figo's maintenance cost has always been on the lower side, it's just that many people have this notion since escort / ikon days as said by mayank.

Hi Sameer,

Just saw your post , I am also planning to buy Figo. I have only one question left for this car i.e it's resale value. Due you have any idea about how this car is valued in used car market.

Also, how your experience till now since Jan

Hi thunder,

From the examples I have seen, the general going rate for the 2 year old top end variant is about 5 lakhs give or take.( Which would have cost 7L OTR)

Which would be about a lakh less that what a swift would fetch.(Atleast)

So if resale is your concern, I would suggest going for the swift.

P.S

I drive a figo too

Regards,
BL

Sorry for reverting back late, Was caught up with studies so went off the forum for a while.

Coming back to your query, When i bought this, I knew i won't get the resale value, But that didn't really mattered to me, Because i am not planning to sell the car for another 7-8 years or so.

I've done 16.5k and the car just brings smile on my face like it did on day 1. The way she takes corners, Man brings a huge smile on your face and i just can't say anything about it's steering, It's a league of its own. So if you really love the car, I would suggest forget the resale part and enjoy driving it.

If resale matters, then get the swift. The king of resale value in used car market.

And the car is doing really well, No issues so far and also surprisingly no rattles and squeaks, It's silent as it was on day 1. The horn stopped working few days back, but then started working on its own. Apart from this, No issues. The more i drive her, More i love her

Cheers,
Sameer
