Few queries-
1) Is it a Bolero unit?
Ans. Yes its a Bolero unit, but it is a single cd player with SD card, bluetooth and MDI support. Unlike the Bolero in the Jetta which is a 6-cd changer.

2) Is it compatible with the Jetta?
Ans. I don't think so, because first thing is the issue with availability, the newer units are not available to buy off the shelf yet as far as I know. Secondly the fit of the unit in the existing or aftermarket dashboard frame will be a slight issue as well.

3) Will all the functionalities be available on my car?
Ans. No. The Jetta has all the functionalities in the MID in the instrument cluster which are controlled by the steering mounted controls, so I don't think why you should go for this upgrade. Rather go for a super high class 8" Columbus unit, and better speakers for the car.
A new Columbus should cost you about 80k.

Google surely is the answer to everything. Try searching VW RNS510 and it should yield out good results. Search ebay for that matter. It costs anywhere between 75k to 100k.

Today I changed all the interior lights to LED and it looks really cool now.
Attaching a pic to show the difference in which one bulb is LED and other is normal one.

I guess you meant 6.5". AFAIK Columbus does not come with an 8" screen.

Edit: Just noticed that the discussion is about Octavia III. Yeah the new Columbus has an 8". Mistook it for the older Columbus discussion. Sorry about that.

Fuel filter will be changed, Air filter will just be cleaned and only replaced if needed, Oil drained and new oil put, oil filter replaced. I suggest you don't wait till 15000 kms, and get it serviced now. They will try to sell you alignment and balancing, and some useless 3M pack for ₹400 which is absolutely point less, they spoiled my car rather than cleaning it. Expect a bill worth ₹11,000 to ₹13,000.

I will try to do it early. No alignment or balancing done till date so isn't it better I do that? Oil cost might be approx 5k, how much will fuel/oil filter will cost?

I don't remember the exact costs of the parts, but you are right about the oil cost. My Laura's bill used to be in that range. Now even I haven't done alignment yet. But I plan to get it done at a decent tire shop. I s asking you to avoid getting it done at the service center.
