Try me for size. I've drifted happily in our family's paddy fields. Won't try it on the roads, though - still haven't got the drift right.

Ok it may qualify in the heritage club of jeeps but its still a very very awesome vehicle .
I used to own one and drove it till 1 LAC Km. Maintenance is absolutely nil with me having changed one set of rear brake shoes and one petrol tank that got mashed off during some off road adventure.

No clutch plates ,no spares, nothing just your regular oil changes and it was regularly serviced at a MUL authorised dealer work-shop so dont think he wud skimp on any necessary maintenance..

I think its got the best pick-up in the SUV class , good average ( consistently gave me about 10) spartan but good effecient interiors which can be throughly washed down.

Plus it did not develop any squeak in the 1LAC Km that i had it.

Hi Bunny

Welcome to the world of Bolero - I have a 2004 Bolero Slx - IDI engine - 2wd - done over 41,000+ km in all sort of terrain. Its the best no frills - all terrain tourer. Yesterday test drove (570km) the new Bolero Slx (DI engine) - pickup is lil low compare to IDI but returned a amazing 16.5 kmpl.

few pix here Flickr: Photos from Rocky aka Rakesh Barua
